In 2022, we forged a powerful partnership with Color of Change for a back-to-school event that made a significant impact on the youth in low-income housing and homeless shelters across South Central LA. Our mission was to provide comfort bags filled with essential items, including books authored by Black writers, school supplies, and comforting items, ensuring a smooth transition into the new school year. Through this collaborative effort, we empowered and uplifted these young individuals, equipping them with the tools they needed to thrive academically and emotionally.
